Rules

Less is more.

How many links may appear per page, per target and per paragraph — and what stays untouched. Out of the box everything is restrained: at most five links per page, one per target, one per paragraph, only the first occurrence of a word. A text full of links reads like an advert, not like a text.

Common questions about Rules

What applies when two rules contradict each other?

The smaller number wins. Once a page reaches its overall limit, no further links appear, even if a target would still have room.

Are links placed in headings?

No. Headings, existing links and hand-made references stay untouched.

Can I exclude individual pages?

Yes. The scope decides which post types are linked at all, and individual items can be excluded.
