KakapoWP was born in 2024 out of a simple frustration: most WordPress plugins for Analytics, Consent, Backup, Performance, SEO, Security, Roles and Media send your data to someone else's servers, are slow and expensive on subscription.

We do it differently. Our eight plugins run locally on your own server — fast, private, under your control. Like our namesake, the flightless Kakapo: grounded, robust, a little quirky.
