Do I have to change my images?

No. The attributes are added at delivery time. Your content in the database stays exactly as it is.

Does that also apply to embedded videos?

iframes get loading=lazy as well. A video further down the page is therefore only loaded once it comes into view.

What does decoding=async do?

The browser may decode the image on the side instead of making the page build wait for it.
