Change log

Capabilities change rarely and last long.

If half a year later the question comes up who gave the editorial team the right to publish, wp_user_roles is mute — it knows only the present state. Recorded are the time, the user, the kind of change and a sentence about it. No IP address, no browser identifier.

All seven plugins included in the lifetime deal — every future one too.

FAQ about the change log

What do I need this for?
Because the database knows only the present state. After half a year the question “who allowed that?” can no longer be answered without a log.
What is not stored?
IP address and browser identifier. Who changed something stands there — from where, not.
Does the log survive uninstalling?
Only if you have not explicitly switched the cleanup on. By default everything stays put.
