Enter and activate the license key
Every plugin in the suite comes with its own “License” (in German: „Lizenz“) area. That is where you enter your key, and that is where it afterwards says what the check produced. The key applies only to the plugin in which you store it.
Entering and activating
- Open the plugin's entry in the WordPress menu, for example “Kakapo Consent”
- In the left sidebar of the plugin interface, click “License” (in German: „Lizenz“) under “System”
- Enter the key into the field with the placeholder XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
- Click “Activate” — the page reloads afterwards. Only Consent does not reload when the license server rejects the key: the rejection then appears as a brief message, and the “Status” line only shows “Invalid” once the page is loaded again
- Read the “Status” line below the field
One key per plugin
The license details sit in the settings of the plugin in question. If you enter the key in Consent, the field in Analytics or Backup is unaffected. The structure of the sidebar is the same everywhere: at the bottom is the “System” group with “White Label”, “License”, “Your data”, “Appearance”, “Take settings with you”, “Guide” and “Help & support”.

Removing the key again
The “Remove” button asks beforehand: “Remove license on this site?”. If you confirm, key, tier and status are deleted in this installation; the response reads “License removed.”.
