Between “AI detected” and “nothing found” there is more than a yes and a no.

Every finding gets points according to its strength of evidence. The sum makes the level: AI-generated, Likely AI, Uncertain or No evidence. You can move the thresholds — and you can see at any time which finding contributed how much.

FAQ about the four levels

Does “No evidence” mean no AI was involved?

No. It means that this file says nothing about it. Metadata is lost in cropping, social networks strip it on upload, and an invisible watermark in the pixels is something this method fundamentally cannot see.

Does a new threshold change old findings?

No. It takes effect only when an image is read again. That is stated on the settings page as well.

Why does camera data subtract points?

Because make, model and exposure settings speak against pure AI generation. It is not proof: editing programs carry over the camera data of the original.
